Glimpses of BST life

Beastmasters in Vana'diel are known to be a somewhat reclusive breed. They seem like heading out into the great unknown and enjoying life in peace, quiet and solitude. Kinda like Superman...right?

This is a chance for you to view some of the highlights of life as a BST. These are rare glimpses indeed. We went to the ends of the world chasing this BST in order to see how she lives, works and plays.

Here we see that BSTs while quiet and reclusive, do in fact have emotions. Joy is often expressed in solitude when they think no one is watching. The gaudy harness is one particular accomplishment that all BSTs derive joy from.

Again, we can see here that BSTs also share other common humanistic traits such as walking around in your underware. You are not alone in admiring the fine form of the BST.

As we all know, accidents happen on the job. A missed stun on a bomb toss, the puller missing the afk call of the WHM as he brings in the chain5 mob, warp IIing that annoying DD that won't settle down his damage output so the NIN tank can hold hate. While these are painful experiences, we see here that accidents on the job for a BST are amplified by the fact he/she is alone especially when they are dealing with the larger mobs of Vana'diel. Ennayram was lucky a friend happened to be stopping by. The Summoner worked for a good hour to extract Ennayram from this Elder Goobues death called the Anal Head Grab....

The Beastmaster in action is truely a magnificent sight to observe. Here we see the BST searching out and challenging one of spawned NMs of this world in order to secure an item for one of her side jobs (Death from Above drops the Hornetneedle dagger which can be used as a Red mage). Truely a versitile creature is the BST. Note the perfect backswing of the axe. Only years of practice result in such fine form.

Our findings after studying this specimen will be posted at a later date for those of you who really wish to delve into the life of a Beastmaster for yourself. Hopefully they will provide insight for you to make decisions in your BST career that will lead to minimal "accidents" and fast, happy experience points gain. Cheers to the solo BST!
